Commercial Bed Maintenance in Des Moines

Detailed landscape care for apartment communities, HOAs and commercial properties.

Entrances, monument signs, building fronts and shared outdoor spaces shape how residents and visitors experience your property. Griff Lawn and Landscape offers recurring bed maintenance for property managers and HOA boards who want those spaces to look consistently cared for.

Care for the areas people notice first

We build the scope around your site: apartment landscaping, condominium common areas, HOA entrances, shared green spaces, office grounds and other managed properties. Tell us which areas belong in the contract, including any boundaries between association-maintained grounds and individual units.

What a bed maintenance plan can include

  • Weed removal: Hand weeding and removal of unwanted growth from agreed landscape beds.

  • Shrub and hedge trimming: Shaping and maintenance suited to the plants and season, with attention to walkways, sightlines and building access.

  • Perennial care: Seasonal plant cutbacks and deadheading where appropriate.

  • Bed cleanup: Removal of leaves, litter and plant debris from the areas included in your proposal.

  • Bed edging: Redefining bed lines for a clean separation between turf and landscape areas.

  • Mulch touch-ups: Refreshing selected areas when included in the agreed scope.

Tasks are scheduled around plant needs and the contracted scope. Every task is not required on every visit. Materials, disposal and larger improvements are identified separately in the proposal.

Choose a maintenance schedule that fits the property

Discuss weekly, every-other-week, monthly or seasonal visits. High-visibility entrances may need more frequent attention than lower-traffic beds. We consider planting density, weed pressure, bed size and the appearance you want to maintain when recommending a schedule.

Start with a walkthrough and a defined scope

We review the property, identify priority areas and separate recurring maintenance from any initial restoration. Your proposal should make clear the areas covered, services, visit frequency, seasonal tasks and separately priced work. Share your site map or bid specifications so we can quote the same boundaries and requirements your team uses.

Overgrown beds need a reset first

Heavy weed growth, neglected shrubs and accumulated debris take different work than maintaining an established landscape. Those conditions require a separate cleanup or restoration assessment before a recurring maintenance plan begins. That gives your property a practical starting point and keeps routine expectations clear.

Coordinate mowing and landscape care

Need the lawns maintained too? Ask for a proposal covering commercial mowing and bed maintenance, with each service and its frequency clearly identified. Seasonal leaf cleanup, mulch installation and landscape improvements can be quoted as additional work.

Information that helps us prepare your proposal

Include the property or community name, address, your management company or HOA contact, areas to maintain, preferred frequency, current condition and target start date. If you have a bid deadline, site map, vendor requirements or annual grounds-maintenance scope, tell us when you request pricing. We will review requirements before confirming availability or commitments.

Commercial bed maintenance questions

Can you quote several buildings or communities?

Yes. Provide each address and its scope so we can assess the properties and identify pricing and availability for each location.

Does bed maintenance include new plants and a full mulch installation?

Those are additional services unless explicitly included in your proposal. Plant replacements, new beds, large pruning projects and full mulch installations need their own scope and pricing.

Can our existing bid specifications be used?

Share them with your request. We will review the service requirements, site conditions and timing before preparing a proposal.
